    1. I really liked this book. At first I was really annoyed with it and how everything was falling apart in Foo. But near the end I became hopeful again and I am excited for the next book. The creatures and the stories behind this book is just amazing. How people come up with things like this I just don't know. May fate be good to Foo.

    2. I’ve mentioned with the two earlier books that I saw a lot of similarities between this series and Harry Potter. I’ve also noticed that the author has a way of inserting little thoughts about life and the situations in the book that reminds me of the way Lemony Snicket writes in “A Series of Unfortunate Events.”I am glad that this book has an index because it gets a little hard to keep track of all the different people and types of creatures. I thought that the second book started out a [...]

    3. The more I read this series, the less I like it. The plot lines are really imaginative, and I enjoy some of the bantering conversations in the book and the humor, but I was honestly bored most of the way through the book. There is no engagement of the reader in these books -- no clues to pick up on, no foreshadowing, just one sticky situation after another. The characters are flat and there just isn't any depth to this. Lots of the subplots don't come together or make much sense (I suppose they' [...]

    4. This is an interesting story line and I'll probably finish the series. I like the imagination of the author that create such fantastical possibilities. However, this book is very different from, say, "Wrinkle In Time." Often the descriptions are too broad and the magical definitions too general to engage me in the book. In each book, I've found myself having to relearn about the characters and the rules (which seem to conveniently change) that govern them.

    5. There was a huge hype about this series because the author came to our school and everything, so I got excited and tried to read the whole thing. It wasn't that good, and now I regret it because I have a signed copy of the second book and it's personalized (he signed it "To Maigan") and I'll probably never read it againI never finished the series, and part of me wants to, part of me doesn't

    6. So far I'm not really liking this book as much as the first two. its basically the same story as the first two books. Which is good because there all following the same plot. But unlike the other two books, there is not as much action, intense parts of the book. It seems like the writer ran out of ideas and started using things like the worlds biggest popcorn, or forget-me-not water, and just other things that have been used many times.

    7. This book was much better than the second. It was adventurous and exciting. I knew all the characters and was more "comfortable" in Foo after the extensive character/place development in the second book. :) I REALLY enjoyed the Want character. He was great. Can't wait for "Leven Thumps and the Wrath of Ezra"!

    8. What a journey for leven, to find who the want was, and what leven became. I was impressed with this book, and very excited for the next one to come.

    9. “Leven thumps” and the eyes of the want- was a great book was full of delight and wonder. In this book, Leven is trying to avoid the evil Azure as he learns about who the real evil is as the Dearth arizes. Meanwhile Geth and Winter are trying to find Azure as, Azure is recruiting 10s of thousands of rants as well as nits and cogs for the battle of Foo and reality, that surely will happen. The want is being no help and the amazing island “lith” sinks, as the gloam grows bigger. (avert you [...]

    10. This is the 3rd book of Leven thumps, During their travels winters ice/cold powers got taken away and they are searching for the secret creature to trap and bury him to protect foo from chaos same for the over-world monsters from foo are showing up and making chaos for every mortal, when they stopped at a tavern/restaurant in foo Leven had to go to the rest room their on his way back up the rest room stairs the secret creature was lying to him for Leven to give him the key so the secret can wrea [...]

    11. As the case for alot of series for me, they drag out and fall flat. Sad to say, this one did the same. It was sooooo boring at times that I considered not finishing it. there were somethings that held my interest enough that kept me reading it, but I will NOT purchase the next book in this series. I will just have to leave the ending to my own imagination.

    12. It took me a bit to get into the story because it has been so long since I read the others. But in the end I enjoyed the book overall. Thank goodness for the guide at the back or I would have been totally lost at the beginning.

    13. Man, this series just keeps getting better and better, crazier and crazier, magical and even more magical.

    14. This is the third volume of the Leven Thumps series, and I am still finding that I like some parts while other parts still annoy me. I will admit that the balance is tipping and I am not as annoyed as I was in the earlier two books. This gives me hope for the next one in the series. As in the previous book, the storyline that grabbed me most was the one dealing with Tim, Ezra, and Dennis, along with the remnants of Sabine. The fact that Ezra is really made up of Geth's darker emotions is somethin [...]

    15. Title: Leven Thumps and the Eyes of The WantAuthor: Obert SkySummary: This is the third book of many in the series. Leven Thumps, Geth, and Winter are still on the hunt for the secret. So they decide to rest a while and lodge in a restaurant or rest area in Foo. Leven decides to go to the bathroom, but on his way up the stairs, he once again finds his secret. The secret latches onto him and tries to steal the key from around his neck to set itself free. Almost choking Leven, it manages to steal [...]

    16. November; Leven Thumps and The Eyes of The Want; Obert SkyeRestoring Geth has helped Foo rebuild what Sabine destroyed, but that does not mean that Foo is safe from danger. There is a great war going on trying to unite Foo and reality. There are so many things happening so fast, for example the secret is still lose and it's putting every sycophant in danger and into great panic. Leven, Geth, and Winter search for the secret and finally find it, but it gets away. While trying to capture the secre [...]

    17. This is probably my least favorite Leven Thumps book, although I'm not exactly sure why. I should have liked it better than the first two since I read it myself this time, instead of listening to E. B. Stevens. Also, Obert Skye has finally decided to drop the phrase, "Leven's eyes burned gold." That was definitely an improvement. I guess there were just way too many main characters in this book, for me anyway. I've never been crazy about books that are told from the perspectives of ten different [...]

    18. Leven Thumps has to catch the secret he accidentally released in the previous book. Fast. Because what he dug up may spell the end to all of Foo if it starts telling the wrong people. Just when he thinks he has it cornered, a surprising intervention separates him from Winter and Geth and points both of their paths to the island of Lith. . . the home of the Want. The Want is as unpredictable as earlier hints warned, and his home has as many moods as he does. At least he speaks to Leven, even if wh [...]

    19. At the beginning of the novel, Geth and Winter try to get the key from the secret. They are captured, and Leven is taken to see the all powerful Want. The Want is actually Hector Thumps, presumed by all to be dead. In the end, Leven accidentaly kills the Want, becoming the new Want in Hector's stead. Geth and Winter escape, and Geth reunites with Leven. Winter was separated from them. I reccomend this book to anyone who likes an exciting, well written novel! First of all, I really like the autho [...]

    20. This book was very exicting! Full of laughs and thought shafts, I liked it very much, it kept me wonderingA few old characters from previous books come into Foo, Swig the sycophant gets his first burnd Geth, Winter and Leven get separted.Leven is summoned to the abode of the Want, who lives on the island of Lith, the 13th Stone; there he shows Leven some very interesting things, all the while harboring a dangerous piece of news that could change Leven forever. Geth and Winter are captured by Azu [...]

    21. This book was ok in the beginning, but the end turned out much better. I knew what was going to happen to Leven from about the middle of the book, and Ernest (my 12 year old) said he knew from the beginning of the book. I guess he reads foreshadowing much better than I do. This book was a very easy read, but hard for me to follow. Each chapter would skip to a different charcter and their story. I would mind if it was two or three (like Eldest), but this book had about 7-8! I can remember Leven, [...]

    22. Leven Thump's journey has barely begun in Foo. He has restored Geth to his former human body and has broken the evil curse of Sabine. But Sabine has not yet been conpletely destroyed. He has some how taken over the body of the mortal Dennis, a janitor in reality. Also, Tim is now traveling with Dennis and Ezra. Back in Foo, Leven and Clover are still seperated from Winter and Geth. Unfortunatly, a former council member was following Sabine and now seeks revenge on Geth. Meanwhile, Leven is insea [...]

    23. I definatly did not enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed the first two books in the Runaway series. It may have just been me, but I felt like most of the book was people talking about what was going to happen, and then it happened in the last 5 or so chapters. There is a plot twist, and when I think about it, I'm just like "Wait. what?". It's mentioned in the book that Geth might have known it would happen, but I looked back into the previous two books and found absolutly nothing as far as Geth [...]

    24. Now as Reality and Foo are being threatened to collide Leven must travel through Foo to find the Want who can give him the power to stop this from happening. Foo is the place where our dreams reside and what would happen if our dreams and reality collide? Leven can not let that happen and has set out once more to stop the evil forces that threaten our reality.Leven Thumps and the Eyes of the Want is the third book in the series and this book renewed my love for Leven. The second book had kind of [...]

    25. Maybe these books are slowly growing on me, or maybe its just that they took so long to get going that they're finally becoming interesting, but this one seemed better than either of the first two.In this installment, Leven has to first stop the terrible Secret. As Foo gears up for a momentous battle, the defenders of Foo - the Sycophants - watch their shores, ready for battle. Normally, the Sycophants - despite their diminuitive size and quirky behaviors - wouldn't bat an eye, as there is only [...]

    26. book report jonah knight period 3 Mrs Deppes classthe problem is that sebim wants back into footting: this book goes back and forth between reality and the land of foo in the present.Antagonist: there are more then one but they are all controled by the dearth witch is the grould under fooprotagonist: leven thumps he is a human/nit boy who can change time and ccontrol the future.I really liked the way clover and leven interact with eachother.I didn't like the way that sebim was so evil and contro [...]

    27. I found this book darker than the others with lots of evil and pain and suffering through the book. Leven doesn't even know what he is supposed to do; so the reader is at a loss too and can only see confusion and failure everywhere with little hope except in fate which also seems to be losing it. Fate is sort of god so it makes it look like god has lost control. And I'm not a fan of Skye's style of writing and his intrusion in the story. Humor is an individual thing and I struggle with his for o [...]
