    1. Spooky and eerie at the beginning and the writing is good, Tristan's suffering comes across as believable and tragic, too bad it fell away at the end with the other unexpected love interest, that hook up didn't exactly feel right at the crucial stage in the book. Still an interesting creepy short story, even with the major let down at the end.

    2. 2.5 starsIt was not bad but I couldn't quite connect with the characters. Tristan was so afraid and in the end there was not reason for it? Why making it look like a horror story in the first place? The beginning was really good and you ask yourself: "What is that thing haunting Tristan?" But the ending was rather weak. But it's a good little read for inbetween.

    3. At first it read like a horror story which is creepy as it is midnight while I was reading it. Then as I continue, it became tragic and hopeless (Tristan unable to get over the lost of a loved one - survival guilt), finally it is a love story. Wonderful writing being able to combine all these emotions and feelings into one short story. Not what I expected but really love it.

    4. I would give 1 more star but I didn't like the end. Everything except this was fine, it was really scary if you use your imagination.))) but it had kind of rushed conclusion or end, not sure what word is better to use here. English is not my first language :-[

    5. A eerie short story about love, and death, and what happens to those who we leave behind having loved, abused, and lost.

    6. slightly creepy in certain aspects but still a good read only wish it could have been longer to see what happened between Tristan and Armand.
