    1. 3,75Jude goes back home for the funeral of his mother, who he still hasn't fully forgiven for throwing him out of his home, because of his sexuality and for forcing him into every acting gig possible. Now years later, Jude is a scientist, doing what he likes, though his love life is still lacking. Meeting his old best friend, to whom he has written letters after he was forced to leave, but has never gotten one back.Connor was not only Jude’s best friend but also his lover, but Connor comes fro [...]

    2. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and it won’t be my last. I was immediately swept up into the story and liked the author’s storytelling ability.Bite your tongue tackles some very controversial topics. Connor and Jude were best friends and lovers years ago, but when Jude left town they stopped corresponding to each other. Because of his famous mother, Jude feels like he’s often alienated because of it. He’s tries to keep from being hounded as well as his life being under [...]

    3. Review posted on World of Diversity FictionThis is the first book I’ve read from this author and her first published work. The story is a quick and easy read but I felt things were missing. I was never able to connect to Jude and Connor, they had some chemistry but it just didn’t pull me in the way I want my romances to. I felt there wasn’t quite enough back story to make me understand what brought these two to the place in their lives we see them. You get quick short glimpses of their pas [...]

    4. I mean, I could definitely tell that it was Remus Lupin/Sirius Black inspired, and the back story never got fleshed out as much as I would have liked, but the romance worked and I really enjoyed this little book. It left me wishing it was a little longer, which is a lot better than the alternative of wishing it would end sooner. Some minor grammatical errors and typos, they don't get in the way too much but they're a tad jarring when you're getting into the story.

    5. Another nice contemporary novel that one can enjoy in an evening when there's not much to do. The characters were nice, but not too much described so it seemed like the story would be quite short(which it was). The story itself is not bad, but nothing too special either. At first the element of animalistic priest, I thought about werewolves and got excited, but that's not really the case here. Still, 4 out of 5 stars because of the cute flashbacks and the adorable god-son.

    6. 3.5 stars rounded up. I had some problems with the writing style but that didn't detract from my enjoying this story.
