    1. This is the perfect pre/during/post-Kalahari-visit reading material. Roxanne's jaunty recounts of her numerous visits to the Kalahari are so vivid that if you haven't been there you desperately want to go, and if you have been there - you suddenly notice so much more of what is going on right in front of you that you maybe hadn't registered before. It reads as the perfect travel-come-nature guide with much humour and candour. A must read for anyone planning on visiting the Kgalagadi National Par [...]
