    1. Oh shit Juzo was castrated.Huh so they framed Juzo for the animal killings. Aw, I suddenly started like Juzo and his relationship with Shinohara.Poor Seido.EPIC BATTLE!!I love Yomo and Touka’s relationship. We haven’t seen much of it, but it’s a great brother-sister relationshipNAL SHOW DOWN!

    2. THIS MANGA OHHHHOHOHOH!!! Man I can rant for hours that Kaneki didn't deserve what he got! The plot is so amazing! I was so wrapped up in the story that I didn't notice the gore at some points. And the end of the anime. Oh man I literally broke down at how sad it was! It was totally off from the manga's ending but still fantastic! And the sequel Tokyo Ghoul: RE hooked me just as fast, because it continues where it left off (kind of there's a gap of three years) and the un-answered questions bett [...]

    3. Omg, la castracion de Juuzou,me dio penita.LLLLLOOOoro porque me estoy acercando al final y sé que voy a sUUUUFRRRRir

    4. Battle scenes were not that interesting to me. What is interesting was Seido 's words in testament. "I don't want to die." Who wants tough? Also, I felt sorry for Juuzo. Such a terrible past. (

    8. Ahhhh the penultimate volume is over! I am so hyped for this finale, but I’m gonna be sad when it’s all over. Kaneki was such a badass in this one but yet more human than I feel he has been recently. I adore the characters of this series. They all stand out strongly for me.

    9. Am I not in the mood for this manga or has it really become less exciting? The fighting sequences aren't interesting, honestly besides juuzou backstory, Kaneki's panels and Touka's part there's nothing that caught my attention.

    10. Well, the big battle between ghouls and investigators is finally here. It's just as big as you could have hoped, too. Not every big name (ghoul) has gotten involved yet, but it sounds like they will (maybe) in the final volume. The entire CCG seems to be involved and Sui Ishida introduces a lot of investigators who have done little to nothing with the plot of the series thus far. There are also a bunch of ghouls that I don't remember ever seeing before now. We do get to see the infamous owl but t [...]

    11. We see Juuzou’s past - he was a scrapper at one of those Ghoul Restaurants for a woman named Big Mama & she liked him when he was angelic & wanted to cut off his penis to keep him as a “girl” and she did i think, because his gender is listed as unknown. anyway, the CCG came one day & rescued him & put him into the academy & now he’s an investigator, but he’s got issues, the poor kid.The manager of Anteiku runs into people from his past, associated with “V” & [...]

    12. Mysterious, powerful, and heartbreaking, this volume exceeded the previous ones, raising it to the next level of drama and development. The CCG rejoices in its victory over the Owl, only to find themselves facing a new Owl, victory snatched from their weakened hands. Kaneki confronts Amon, Hide, and the greatest foe he has ever battled while the consequences of each fight catch up with him, physically and emotionally in this dramatic climax and conclusion to ‘Tokyo Ghoul’. This book took my [...]

    13. I feel like I’m missing somethingportant. Idk who half the characters are(and there’s a lot of them), and for the most part I also haven’t been remembering a lot of the terms. I honestly think the second half of this series could have done 100000x better if Ishida hadn’t thrown in so many unimportant characters and then tried to make them seem important. Besides from that, the second half of the series also became a load more boring. Yes, I get that all the ghoul investigator stuff is im [...]

    14. I wish I wish I wish I didn't watch this first!! It's soooo good in the books! This volume was action packed and I was sucked in. I read it in about an hour and couldn't put it down. Some of it is confusing thougheping track of who's who in the CCG mainly. We didn't get enough time with them or character development for me to remember who half of them are, but Amon and Juzo own! I was happy to get some Juzo backstory even though it was fucked up. I'm also happy Kaneki got to shine AGAIN here. I [...]

    15. Tokyo Ghoul is a series of graphic novels where there are human flesh eating ghouls trying to lie in the world. A group founded by the government has ghoul exterminators to kill and/or capture and imprison the ghouls. In this volume, the ghoul exterminators are heading to the coffee shop where the main character, Kei Kaneki works with other ghouls. Besides human flesh, the ghouls also like coffee. That is the gist of this episode. It's a pretty good book.

    16. great themes, a great discussion cloaked in a great fight and a nice dispay of love for your peers. The build-up is nice as well and the action scenes I love. Not to forget the extra character development.9/10

    17. This volume was good. I found the characters' backstories extremely interesting. The art has improved since the first volume, however the fighting scenes are still a bit difficult to make out. I can't believe I am almost done with this series.

    18. All the characters introduced up to this point in the story come together for an epic show down. This is an amazing start to the climax of the story!

    19. Really good fight scenes and some emotional story going on. The art is great as well.It was a little lacking in plot though for me.

    20. Sad bc I'm caught up now and I like to binge read Tokyo ghoul so I know I won't read anymore until like 4 more books r out RIP
