    1. This. Was just. The CUTEST.Our town got pummeled by a winter storm overnight, and so I spent today snowed inside, huddled beneath a pile of blankets. Sure, I could have gotten up. And done things. Like laundry. But I also had a cat or two on my lap, so obvi I was stuck until they decided to move their divine furriness away from me.Which they did. Sometime around noon. And yet I stayed hunkered down in my chair, binge-reading this book in one sitting, with what I can only imagine was the goofiest [...]

    2. I already know of two high-school aged relatives I am giving this book to for Christmas, and I hope I can see them read it.This is an utterly charming wish-fulfillment romance, featuring Dylan, eye-rolling younger sister of gorgeous, perfect Dusty, beauty-pageant-winner from Tupelo. Dusty was chosen for a reality show, at which she met Scottish laird Ronan, and fell in love. Now Dylan, to her total disgust, is being whisked off to Scotland for the second series as Dusty and Ronan marry at his va [...]

    3. Full Review: Thank you so much to NetGalley and Disney-Hyperion for giving me the chance to read and review this super cute novel by Stephanie Kate Strohm! What an adorable book about a younger sister dragged along to Scotland for her sister’s wedding to a Scottish lord, which, to her dismay, is being filmed for a reality TV series “Prince in Disguise.”Gosh, I just loved the chemistry between Dylan and Jamie. From the first moment they meet, they have this really natural, cute, nerdy vibe [...]

    4. I loved every single thing about this book- I almost died of the cute banter and swoony moments. I ship Dylan & Jamie so much it’s ridiculous, and I wouldn’t say no to something set in their future because I never want this story to end!! Full review to comeI love this book so, so much and it might just be my new favorite thing ever.It has witty banter. It has relatable and funny characters. It has reality T.V. craziness. It has a prince in disguise. It has all the swoons.I don’t know why [...]

    5. 4.5 StarsI am always a sucker for books about royalty, so I knew I would love Prince in Disguise the moment I saw it. This story is all about a reality TV show set in Scotland and contains a likeable main character. This book makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside, making it perfect for the winter. This book has such an original concept! The main character’s sister is getting married to a (barely) prince, and the wedding and the planning are all being aired on a reality TV show. Dylan wants nothi [...]

    6. An Adorable Holiday Slump-buster!I was SO excited to be approved for this Disney-Hyperion title on Net Galley, and it did not disappoint! If you’re in the mood for a fast, slump-buster read–whether to get you back into reading or to kick-start you into the holiday spirit–this is it! I loved Dylan immediately. She’s the awkward, self-conscious, shy younger sister of a beauty-pageant winner, dragged into a high-profile world she never wanted to be part of. When she ends up meeting a boy she [...]

    7. That was just delightful. Super cute, and super perfect to read during Christmastime (and during a season of high royal romance to boot!). This was really funny, witty, banterful, and just plain adorable. Jamie is my dream boy. The twist is absolutely predictable, but in a really charming way. Like, OF COURSE that's what happens, but it's also so what you WANT to happen. What a delicious slice of escapism this is while not feeling even a little bit trashy. It's just a plain old wonderful time. T [...]

    8. you can read my review here as well---If you’re into season reads and want something super cute and fluffy for winter time, Prince in Disguise is definitely a good choice. It takes place in the weeks counting down to Christmas and there are a lot of shenanigans to behold in a cold castle in Scotland. The cute factor here is definitely at a high. Jamie, the love interest, is an absolute dork and I adored him and all his quirky traits. He randomly refers to ancient poetry and literature in what [...]

    9. A great rom-com about reality shows and finding one's prince.3.5.Dylan's perfect older sister was part of a successful reality show where she unknowingly fell in love with a lord from Scotland. Now she's about to get married, the family needs to spend a too long a time in his estate back in Scotland, being filmed for a special follow-up. And the big house comes with all the clichés, secret passageways, mean mother-in-law, and cute boy with a British accent. Maybe it's not going to be so bad for [...]

    10. *Thanks so much to the publisher for sending me an e-ARC via Netgalley!!*Okay, this book was adorable and fun AND HAD THE BEST DISNEY REFERENCES. I was dying with each witty Disney reference/comment that was made, and Strohm definitely has confirmed that she is a master of adorable, cheesey goodness - my favorite contemporary kind of novel. This story did drag in a few parts, and I started to get really bored - however it was cute for the most part. The best part of this story was the comedy and [...]

    11. Very sweet, sometimes laugh out loud, story of a16 year old girl who gets caught up in the story line when her older sister goes a reality show called "Prince in Disguise". A cute story, funny characters, and a nice break from reality, lol.

    12. This was a fun read, but very predictable and too sugar sweet and cutesy. Good fluff material, but nothing life changing.

    13. I'm so happy this was my last book of 2017, because I needed to end 2017 with something fluffy and lovely. Here's the thing about this book: it was totally ridiculous and predictable as hell, but a) if it were a movie staring Mandy Moore and Matthew Goode I’d watch the shit out of it, and b) if there ends up being a sequel I’ll totally read it.Some further thoughts, mostly for myself(view spoiler)[Whaaaaaat, Ronan isn't the titular Prince in Disguise?! That's SO SHOCKING. I think this is one [...]

    14. Holy mother of books I didn't expect to love, this book is a dang delight. Prince in Disguise is: Charming, funny, full of literary references, full of well-written characters, swoony, sweet, and banter-filled. Need some examples? Happy to provide:"So, uh, you guys went to Eton together? That's, what, like, a high school?""Yes, yes, like, totally, like, a high school," he Valley-girled at me. "I know your American lingo. I watch the films. That was way harsh, Tai," he added. "Clueless."Abandonme [...]

    15. "I had family. And friends. They knew who I was- and so did I."First, thank you thank you thank you Disney-Hyperion, NetGalley, and Stephanie Kate Strohm for letting me read and review this early! I can't even tell you guys how pumped I was when I got the email saying this was waiting for me on my NetGalley shelf. I screamed and jumped up and down and my sister thought I was crazy, but I wanted this so bad. So double thank you! This book was so amazing. Honestly, it was better than I could have h [...]

    16. I know this is a holiday tale akin to those I watched all December long, but my library didn't get it until this week. After seeing some very favorable reviews for this book, I knew I couldn't wait until next December to read it, and I'm so very glad that I didn't. Prince in Disguise was utterly charming and delightful and completely adorable and it's the feel-good read I needed and one I know I'll be revisiting again and again. As it was, I was sneaking chapters at work all day yesterday beca [...]

    17. Trigger warnings: slut shaming, absent parents. I think that's about it?? Was this indescribably predictable? Uh, yeah. Was it also cute as hell? Definitely. Dylan is a pretty great protagonist, and Jamie was a delightfully nerdy love interest. It was funny, it was fast paced, it was utterly ridiculous from start to finish, but I didn't freaking care because it's New Year's Day and my brain isn't working properly yet. In short, it's perfect for fans of reality TV and/or contemporary YA books inv [...]

    18. "Prince in Disguise" is the story of Dylan, a girl who would rather be in the background than standing out. She leaves the spotlight for her older sister, Dusty, former beauty queen who is about to marry a Scottish laird on television. Dusty is ready for her happily ever after in front of a television audience and while Dylan wants to be there for her sister, she'd rather not make an appearance on the screen herself. Little does she know that she might be getting her own happy ending and it's on [...]

    19. Rating: 4.5 starsStrohm always delivers a clever, witty, and fun story that warms my heart and makes me laugh. When I want to read something that amuses me, I know I cannot go wrong with a book by Stephanie Kate Strohm. Once again, Strohm delivered a charming and witty rom-com, which left me in a sunshine-day mood.•Pro: Strohm is the queen of banter! The dialog was witty and filled with the perfect pop culture references. I swear, there were moments I felt as though I was in an episode of Gilm [...]

    20. Prince in Disguise is so much fun! The cover tricked me a bit and I thought this was going for be more of a middle grade story, but it's actually a YA full of heart and hilarity. Dylan is tired of being in the older sister's shadow, yet not at all interested in being in the spotlight. When her sister lands a spot in a bachelor-like reality TV show, Dylan does her best to steer clear and stay away from the cameras. However when her sister wins the heart of the bachelor and prepares to film a new [...]

    21. A cute, fun contemporary full of Scotland, medieval castles, and a prince in disguise - this was exactly the fluffy read I had hoped for!

    22. This book is the cutest freaking thing in the universe. The rommiest and commiest of the rom-coms. I am officially obsessed with Stephanie Kate Strohm.

    23. Okay that was super cute and a total Lindsay crack book. I loved the whole thing, and other than a few minor issues about the reality tv part of it, it was a delight. Jamie was so quirky and adorable and I just loved him.

    24. I really liked this one. This book was a joy to read - cute and fun and funny and just what I needed to balance out some of the other stuff I've been reading lately. Highly recommend.

    25. After reading a few other reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by this book. There were some pretty obvious plot points, but I thought this was really cute. I loved the back and forth between Dylan and Jamie.

    26. This book is so charming!!! It has everything I love in a contemporary YA; family, friends, and romance all play important parts in this story. It also involves Scotland, royals, and reality TV -- so how could it go wrong, really?I loved the main character, Dylan. She was enough the "unpopular little sister" character to be relatable, but not to the point of obnoxiousness like some books can portray. The friendship and romance with Jamie was a big part of the story, and it was so fun and sweet. [...]
