This was edited by the same person who pulled together New-Generation African Poets: A Chapbook Box Set, with the same thoughtful commentary and another diverse collection of poets. Even though all of the poems are in English, some maintain the flux of their respective islands' dialects.     4. I love anthologies of poetry - getting to discover new voices. To be honest this collection did not capture me. The last two poets were the only two that seemed to speak to me beyond the odd line first I felt that perhaps it is because it writes about places, experiences and language that are not close to me but good writers help me to understand and connect to things that I have no connection to at all so I am not sure what it is. I guess not all poetry speaks to us where we are at right now.An [...]
