    1. This coming-of-age/coming out novel made me muse about a lot of questions regarding narration. Are we always the main figure in our experiences? What does it mean for a person to think about life in terms of the others around him rather than himself, as our narrator, Nino sometimes does? How does one write with pure honesty and openness?Teddy and Eddie are two lovers whom the narrator, Nino meets in college. They help him navigate his own emerging sexuality.Nino is a striking narrator for a few [...]

    2. Very quirky. This book is different, quirky. I didn't like it at first. I wanted to give up after the first few chapters because it made no sense. Books usually have a rhythm. At least an understandable chorus. This book was like progressive jazz, no rhyme or reason. It was told in first person by Nino as he weaves a dreamlike narrative of his childhood starting at the age of four and continuing through his college years. We also get a brief peek into his future that he sneaks in that left me sha [...]

    3. It seems that almost every gay author has a coming-out story and many get the opportunity to exorcise their demons by retelling them. Given the shared experience, many gay readers never seem to tire of reading them. Most of these stories have some common elements, but the best have their idiosyncrasies that make them unique and worthwhile reading. This one was idiosyncratic to be sure, but initially a bit off-putting. The story was clearly being told in retrospect as it was set in the 60's & [...]

    4. This is So Good!It took a while for me to adjust to the way the author wove his way through the narrator's life as he revisited memories. I hated what happened to Michael Why couldn't it have been Elaine? I think I figured out why christmas is never capitalized throughout the story. I loved Rosalie and wanted to throttle Mr. Santini. Teddy and Eddie need to spend some time soaking up love and acceptance from Rosalie and Anthony. College really was a time of self-discovery and this author delved [...]

    5. The Story of Teddy and Eddie is my third novel, released as an ebook on in Sep 2015. It has since been released as a paperback in Oct 2015. It tells a story of detachment and discovery that attempts to illuminate the indelible impact of childhood and memory on decisions so close to the heart.
