    1. Gripping, intriguing, beautiful, sexy, hot and wicked. And that's just the guitar! Diego Ortego is a rock god, the man with magic fingers when he plays his guitar. Then he purchases an antique Strata and is warned that it is cursed. But he's not afraid, he's not afraid of anything. This storyline was not only intriguing but very well written. It grabbed you and brought you on a wild tour with a heavy metal band, with a cursed guitar. The main character was well defined, and the supporting charact [...]

    2. This review is for “The Guitarist” by Lindy S. HudisI loved the premise, the ending was nice… I just would have preferred the book to be a bit longer, to add some more back story and details.Plot: The plot, the setting, perfect. Think 80s big hair rock bands. There were absolutely no plot holes, although some things were mentioned about another band member, that were never elaborated on.Characters: Diego– a.k.a.– a Rock God, is tired of the groupie love scene and wants something more. [...]

    3. Dear Ms. Hudis, I've recently completed reading your recent work, “The Guitarist”. (Thank you for sending me a review copy, by the way.) I found it managed to bring out many different emotions in me.* Intrigue – Not so much “what was going to happen next”, because, quite frankly, the conflict was predictable, at least at a high level. (That's not necessarily a bad thing, either, not for the story you were trying to tell.) Rather, it was an intrigue as to HOW you were going to proceed t [...]

    4. i869otobucket/albums/abThe Guitarist was a 3.5 star read.Diego is what you would call a Rock god, not only while playing his strat but also in bed with the groupies. When the band stops to eat, Diego sees a guitar that he has to have, money is no issue. He finally convinces the man to sell it, however he does get a warning “it’s cursed”. Once Diego gets back on the road with his new guitar weird things start to happen. Diego was having weird dreams about a woman, possibly his soulmate? This [...]

    5. Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.Diego is a god. a rock god, no less. He buys an antique Fender Stratocaster guitar with a twenty thousand dollar price tag, and a warning. It's cursed. He doesn't believe in such things, until people are being harmed by the guitar, and a strange woman visits him at night. When those visits take a darker turn, Diego knows he has to do something, but what? Only a god can break a curse. oh, but he is a god!Far too short!45 [...]

    6. Diego is a guitarist in a band. He feels that he is a rock god. He loves his strat guitars that are custom made. How can a rock god love and hate touring? If he dislikes being intimate with groupies, and touring, why does he do it? What happens when they stop in a small town, on the way to their first show? The rest of the folks go to get food. Where does Diego go? What happens when he spies a guitar and how much does he pay for it? What does the owner of the shop tell him about the guitar? What [...]

    7. The Guitarist is a short, quick, good read. Diego is a rock god. He knows he's a rock god and is a little cocky. He has money and using to buy a guitar. The owner didn't want to sell it because it cursed but Diego makes him a cash offer he could resist. I wasn't overly in love with Diego but I liked him. After he gets the guitar weird and odd things start happening. I was wondering whether Diego was losing it or whether the guitar really cursed. It keep me interested in seeing how it was all goi [...]

    8. The Guitarist is a Rock N Roll Fable to be sure! Diego Ortega is a Rock God who meets his match when he finds a mysterious guitar with magical powers in a small town. This is a highly erotic story of a jaded rocker who half-heartedly frolics with his many sex-crazed groupies while in his heart he yearns for something more. The premise captivated me enough that I read it in one go. I liked the way it ended, but I would've have liked an epilogue, giving me a bit more of a view into the future of D [...]
