    1. 3.5 Stars.Luke is 23.His father is a wealthy, ruthless man. They don't have a great relationship so when an opportunity presents itself for Luke to finally impress his father he decides to go behind his father's backwith disastrous consequences.Roman is 32.Good looking, and very successful at what he does. There's bad blood between himself and Luke's father so when Luke sets up a meeting with him Roman sees this as an opportunity to get revenge and kidnaps Luke.Luke is gay.Roman is not. However,Roman [...]

    2. I thoughtJust a bit twisted andStraight boy are my favorites in the series and how wrong I was. 😁 This is unanimously, (although the only voter is me 😂) my favorite book in the series. 😍 I just love everything about it. Well, as my friends and followers know, I love dark, twisted and fucked-up characters. And I also have a kink for Stockholm syndrome and kidnapping storylines. (I’m sensing people running away from me 😂👏)So when I was reading the blurb of the book, I knew I’d [...]

    3. A little part of me is disappointed because I thought this was going to be epic and it wasn't. It happens when you have high expectations. There was a lot of this:And this:So I was like:The thing the bothered me the most was (view spoiler)[ Roman having sex with women and Luke having to listen. And almost at the end of the book Roman still wasn't sure about Luke and him getting together so some woman appears and they kiss but, thank god, they don't have sex. But still I really don't like any vagi [...]

    4. An okay read, but nothing extra special for me. I liked the story and the sexiness of it, but the characters could get a little too annoying for me. Still something I would recommend though.

    5. I have been anxiously waiting for Luke's book and eventhough this book isn't my favorite in this series, I still enjoyed it very much :)Luke (Jason friend from previous book) has always had a vision of his future. He's looking for mr. wright. He wants the perfect husband, a white picket fence and a couple of kids. He wants to find his prince charming. While in Russia, sticking his nose in his fathers business, he gets kidnapped and comes face to face with quite the opposite of what he has been lo [...]

    6. Yes Shin, you were so right 😉.Was this Stockholm Syndrome? Hell no. This was Lust Syndrome, plain and simple.Well, actually the sex was anything but plain and simple, but i’ll let you find out for yourselves whilst I’m off to read Book 1 - another beauty of this Series is that each book is a standalone, so just pick one that appeals to you and get reading.

    7. ⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱*Indifferent*⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱ This book was well it just was. I feel quite indifferent to it. I didn't feel attached to the characters, I didn't get nervous at the outcome, I didn't care what happened. The book centers around the Russian oil tycoon and multi-billionaire, Roman ‘Roma’ Danilovich Demidov (32) who takes the opportunity offered and kidnaps Luke ‘Curly’ Whitford (23) to make Luke's dad pay. Things didn't go as his plan, because Luke's face is hard to resis [...]

    8. Travel, kidnapping, violence, taboo, super hot sex, a little bit of daddy, and a ridiculously sweet HEA. Yep. I liked that one a lot.

    9. will be waiting impatiently ☺️oh my goodness just cannot love this series anymore than I do Roman is a dick big selfish cruel dominant manipulative dick . and yep like Luke I fell hopelessly in love *sigh* it felt raw and it felt real I cannot wait for book 7

    10. I think this book was my least favourite book in this series BUT but but still i liked it not upto other books because i really really liked them. So yeah you can say that it was my least favourite but still i liked it. RTC.

    11. I'm too lazy to write a proper review I just have to say this book was as good as Tristan's and it was insanely hot. Thumbs ups for the author and her morbid stories. 4 stars ⭐️.

    12. 4 stars! Another great addition to the "straight boy series" and it definitely did not disappoint. "Just a bit ruthless" is the story of Luke & Roman. We met Luke in the previous book, his a twenty-three year old, gay, and scared to come out do to his strict and cold father. Roman is a handsome straight thirty-two year old Russian billionaire. Roman has a vendetta against Luke's father and when he finds himself with the opportunity to kidnap Luke and extract revenge, he takes it! Luke's and [...]

    13. OMG. I needed this book badly. I might have sent a few emails to the author trying to get updates on the release. When that little reminder popped up alerting me to a new release via amazon, I dove right in. After the way book 5 ended, I had to know Luke’s story. In a failed attempt to prove to his father that he is capable, Luke finds himself kidnapped. But his capture isn’t what he expected. Sure there is evil that lurks in his eyes, but there is also lust burning.Roman isn’t gay. But he [...]

    14. Llevo toda la noche dándole vueltas, sin saber si puntuar con 4 o con 5 estrellas.Me he decidido por las 4, a pesar de que me ha encantado, por dos motivos:El primero, mis 5 suelen ser clarísimos. No tiendo a tener dudas.

    15. This was so good.I really didn't have any expectations of this book, I just didn't find what to read, I am so glad I read this. I could have use a couple of more chapters but this was really good.We met Luke in the book before, he is just a young man who only want to be taken seriously and also want this fairy tail to come true, he wants a big family with childrens and all of that, but well he falls for his captor, sexy Roman Demidov, who have issues with Luke's father.I mean yeah the story is p [...]

    16. Loved this oneI really didn't think I was going to like this one given the subject matter but flipping heck how wrong was I. This has jumped right up to the top of my list for being my favourite one out of this series.I loved how Roman ended up being the one who couldn't live without the other and his plan to make Luke utterly dependent on him spectacularly rebounded. While Roman also fell into all those stereotypes of Russian Bratva, it didn't matter and it was a believable world the pair inhabi [...]

    17. Probably most anticipated Straight Guys installmentd, damn, was it worth the anticipation! I bought it the second (quite literally) it came out, stayed until 6 am reading it, and after 2 hours of sleep, I can hardly manage a coherent review, but what I can say is that Luce & Roman were absolutely explosive together and hot as hell! Sure, the probability of something even remotely similar to this happening in a real life is almost non-existent, but those are actually my favorite romantic book [...]

    18. It’s been a while since I’ve read something so amazing that it would keep me up at night reading greedily. This time, it’s finally happened – and no surprising, considering that Alessandra Hazard has yet to disappoint. I was waiting for Just a Bit Ruthless especially eagerly, because I *love* Stockholm syndrome stories. An I was captivated from the very first page. Luke is adorable and so sweet, but also so scared and jumpy from all his bad experiences. I loved how he was described, the [...]

    19. This was probably the least angsty of the series. Both guys just went with the flow. Roman's the only guy in the series to just jump on the "have sex with a guy" band wagon and he had no internal conflict. Despite it's lack of angst I still really liked this one. As usual the relationship was super messed up. It was also hot, hot, hot. *Kind of bummed to see in the author's notes at the back that the next book will be the last in the series. I could read these forever*

    20. Having read 5 books from this series, here's my conclusion: the romances aren't necessarily memorable, the characters can be irritating, and suspension of disbelief is often required. But damn can this author bring the heat!At first, I wasn't a fan of either Luke or Roman. Luke comes across as very naive and foolish, while Roman's a complete douchebag. But slowly, both main characters worked their way under my skin. The beginning of their relationship is sketchy. It's fairly Stockholm syndrome-es [...]

    21. “Stop looking at me that way,” he grated out, his expression managing to be stormy and hungry at the same time.“What way?”“Like I’m a goddamn hero,” Roman gritted out before shoving his tongue down Luke’s throat.Perhaps the best in the series for me. I liked the dynamics between those too, I liked how Luke came out as submissive without souding weak, how Roman was protective of him (especially in the end). Roman never did come out as a homophobe to me though as the blurb suggeste [...]

    22. This was book 6 in the "Straight Guy" series. This was my favorite book in this series. Luke Whitford who we met in book 5 has always dreamed of meeting Mr. Right he is a hopeless romantic. While in Russia doing business for his father he goes to meet a man trying to prove to his father that he can be trusted his father has ties to the mob and he doesn't know that his only son is gay. Roman Demidov is a homophobic good looking billionaire who has a grudge against Luke’s father when Luke shows [...]

    23. OK. I just love the idea of a captive falling in love with his captor. It simply makes a brilliant story.I loved all the previous books in the series, with Zach and Tristan's story being my favourite. This one comes pretty close. There is a lot of heat between Roman and Luke right from the beginning. You can feel the steam building up and up between them until it goes off spectacularly. You can see Roman falling for Luke long long before he has the guts to admit to it. But why would he? He is str [...]

    24. 3.5 starsI love this series. It’s one that when a new book comes out, I absolutely must read it right away. And I was especially looking forward to this one after the teaser at the end of book five. The set up had seemed to promise something dark, but as I got into this, while I could see so much potential to be that dark and angsty read I’d been hoping for, it really didn’t go that way. In fact, it was rather fluffy and sweet and lacked some of the raw, hot sexual tension that I'd always [...]

    25. 4 JUsT A biT RuThless Stars! Ruthless. But, in love. This writer has a knack for writing great Alpha men that I easily fall in love with. The powerful ruthless and strongly jealous ones are my most favorite and Roman Demidov, a dangerous gun-slinging billionaire was perfect. This book and my thoughts.Well, I liked it a lot. This book was an oddly fun and easy going read. And I thought I would hate Stockholm Syndrome cuz, it generally is not my thing. But, what I loved.❤️ The air brushes of BD [...]

    26. 4 StarsIt's so unlike me, not usually my kind of kink, like AT ALL, but none the less, it worked for me. It was hot as hell, too! This has been my favorite of the series, hands down.

    27. LOVED LOVED LOVED. This book, I was curious about how she would make Roman "lovable" for Lucas. But if you loved Rutledge attitude of "this is who i am, deal with it" then you will have no problem with Roman. I found them very believable with each other & sexy. I look forward to the next one.
