    1. I received a free copy of this box set from the author in exchange for an honest review. The “Jamie Quinn Mystery Collection” is a set cozy mysteries, starring and narrated by Jamie Quinn, a reluctant lawyer. I can’t remember if I have ever read a cozy mystery before so I had no idea what to expect going into this. I knew, almost from the first paragraph, that I was going to bond with Jamie. I identified with her conversational story-telling style. It made me feel like I was right there wit [...]

    2. Quick, easy to read, and engaging. These are fun reads with charming characters. I've read and enjoyed a few cozy mysteries lately, so when the author of this series asked me if I'd be interested in reviewing, I was all for it. I'm really happy to be introduced to Jamie Quinn, family lawyer. She's quite a detective and extremely devoted to her family, friends, and clients. She's very easy to relate to and likeable, like she'd be a fun person to drink a glass or two of wine with! Story one:Death [...]

    5. This three book set is a cozy mystery series (my favorite type of book to read) featuring Jamie Quinn. Jamie is a practicing family attorney who seems to have a knack for helping family and friends who inevitably get themselves into trouble. All three are novellas which made me a bit skeptical. I have to admit I am not a fan. The stories are never given a chance to develop and often leave me disappointed. The first book was good. I liked the way Ms. Venkataraman writes and I found Jamie to be a [...]

    6. This is a 3 book set of cosy mystery novellas. The main character is Jamie Quinn, a family lawyer. Each novella can be read as a stand alone, but as you read the series more information about Jamie's life, her family, friends etc are revealed and intertwined into each storyline. Books #4 and #5 in the Jamie Quinn series are already published, so that is great because I will definitely continue to read the series. The author describes each character well and there is humour, so you can have a goo [...]

    7. 9. I received this box set for free on . I really loved this box set. I never read a box set before and I have to say that it was real nice to just turn the page and have the next book right there instead of having to wait for it to be published. I really enjoyed this boxed set. The characters were really well defined. I empathized with what each character was going through. I would highly recommed this box set.

    10. I want to thank the publisher for providing me a copy of this series, because the series was amazing and I am not sure I would discover it otherwise! So friends if you love mystery go discover this series I can assure you it is worth every minute you spend reading this series. On a side note I am just in love with book collections lately, there are so many good ones that I can't help but be a little addicted to them. I love them. 11. I received a free box set from this author in exchange for an honest review. A fun fast paced set of mysteries, full of wit, charm and heart! Looking forward to reading the next one.

    12. The Jamie Quinn mysteries follows a reluctant family lawyer who becomes latched to a series of murder mysteries in this box set. Jamie is a funny character who decides to just wing the first time she becomes involved with a murder mystery. The first time she becomes involved is because her dear nephew is accused of murder, and she dives face first into criminal law to make sure he doesn't go down for a crime he didn't commit.I rather liked the three books in this collection. It took me a little [...]

    13. *I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book*I have a habit of spacing cozy mysteries apart because they do all seem to have a formula that they follow. If I read too many right in a row I tend to get bored. 3 is about my limit so I was glad there were only 3 in this set. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy cozy mysteries. They are great when you have had a long day and just want to cozy up with a nice mystery. Now onto the book. I really enjoyed Jamie Quinn. I love that she is actually a lawyer inste [...]

    14. Gifted to me by the author in exchange for a review. I'm so excited to read this set!* * * * *I started the third Jamie Quinn book, _Peril in the Park_, 1/24/17. This was probably my favorite of the three. I especially liked inclusion of a Renaissance Festival in the story and, as always, Duke's crazy character. While there were a few too many balls in the air at once and Jamie's relationship with Kip seemed a bit forced, the main character of Jamie is growing and becoming more nuanced as the se [...]

    15. Author Barbara Venkataraman asked me to review the first three books in her Jamie Quinn series. Even though we’ve never met she totally gets me. This series is everything I look for in a cozy murder mystery; action packed, humorous, emotional, and a dash of thrilling. The first story in the series, Death by Didgeridoo, is a novella. I thought I was reading One Minute Mysteries for adults and felt it was a wonderful way to introduce the reader to the characters and draw them into the series. The [...]

    16. ExcellentThese stories have a very likable heroine, an amusing PI and a good mystery. I really enjoyed them. This set was offered for free to gain the attention of new readers and it worked in my case. I am going to buy the next installment. No gory violence or sex scenes, just a well written story.

    17. This is a really great beginning to a mystery series about a plucky smart mouthed lawyer who always seems to find herself connected to dead bodies. I highly recommend it. nicolewbrown/2017

    18. Finished reading: August 2nd 2016“It's strange how technology enhances life and diminishes it at the same time.”*** A copy of this collection was kindly provided to me in exchange for an honest review. Thank you! ***(view spoiler)[I can always enjoy a good cozy mystery read, so when I was approached by the author if I wanted to read and review her collection of three Jamie Quinn stories it was easy to say yes. And Death By Didgeridoo, The Case Of The Killer Divorce and Peril In The Park are [...]

    19. What a great character! Jamie Quinn is a fun, bumbling, yet endearing character. She sure can get herself into situations without hunting for them. Things always come out right in the end and it is a great read, finding out just how they happen and how she fixes them. I was rooting for her throughout all three stories.I would recommend these to anyone who likes an easy, fun, quick read. The box set is reasonable or your can buy them individually. All are worth the price.

    20. I really enjoyed this series. I moved faster than what I was used to and that was a pleasant change. I purchased the next two books in the series and cannot wait to read them.

    21. I received a free copy of this book from the Author in exchange of an honest review.3.5 Stars.Jamie Quinn is a brilliant divorce lawyer who finds herself frequently entangled in investigations having little to do with divorce cases. The three stories in this box set: "Death by Didgeridoo", "The Case of the Killer Divorce" and "Peril in the Park" are quite interesting and diverse. When i started reading them, i was afraid i might find them repetitive somewhat, but they were not, i enjoyed all of t [...]

    22. Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) provided by the Author in exchange for a fair and honest review.Death by Didgeridoo"I am," she says snobbishly, "a Romantic-Suspense reader." Well, I read a lot of cozy too, just don't tell my Romantic-Suspense Friends. Death by Didgeridoo, A Jamie Quinn Mystery is wonderful and FUNNY and, as a retired Paralegal, I can so relate to reluctant lawyer Jamie Quinn. Great novella and a good start to the Jamie Quinn Mystery series. I can't wait to read the next one.Jamie los [...]

    23. Jamie Quinn is recovering from her mother's death. She's stuck in a morass of grief which has sapped any motivation she once had for her job as a lawyer. Fortunately, her mother anticipated that Jamie might need some time to get back on her feet and left her a house and enough money to get through her first half year or so without her mother.Jamie knows she should get back to work, but nothing's prodding her hard enough to do it that is until her autistic nephew is accused of a murder Jamie's su [...]

    24. Jaime Quinn is a wonderful protagonist. We meet her as she is trying to recover after her mother’s death. She doesn’t feel like going to the office at all. She has a Family Law practice dealing mainly with couples getting divorced and she just can’t deal with that right now. Then she received a frantic phone call from her aunt. Her cousin has been arrested for murder. Well that would shake the cobwebs out of anyone’s brain but Jaime’s cousin has Asperger Syndrome and Jaime knows there [...]

    25. #1-3 of the Jamie Quinn mystery series. Jamie has been an engaging and likeable protagonist from the start. There is quite an author arc from the beginning to the end of this group. The length of the entries increases from 90 to 143 pages, while still not novel length in today's world, they have become respectable novellas. Plot complexity has also increased, from a straightforward murder case involving her nephew, to a more complex murder case with vandalism and stalking elements involving her [...]

    26. Third book was better than books one and two. I enjoyed the plot and character development. For anyone looking for a good cozy to read, I recommend the Jamie Quinn mystery collection.

    27. So much fun, I got the box set*, thought I would just read one, but then. you know how that goes. They (after the fact) reminded me of little morsels of delicious mystery- kinda like chocolate in a box, you want to stop after one, BUT there are others and NO ONE is looking and they were fun? So why not? Jamie Quinn is funny, intelligent (yay!) and suffers from a touch of insomnia - don't we all? She's an every woman thrown into situations she'd rather avoid, but then maybe not. ;]I really loved t [...]

    28. I will start off saying that I wasn't too excited about reading this set of books, yes I got them free from the author, yes I promised to review, yes I knew I had better do it because I said I would even though 4 of my favorite authors and series were released the same day and I was dying to jump in to them. All this said I was so taken back and surprised at how much I loved, yes LOVED this series. The 3 books are quick reads and leave me salivating for more of Jamie's craziness. Why should you [...]

    29. Jamie Quinn Mystery books 1-3Death by Didgeridoo: Jamie Quinn is a quirky family law lawyer.
