    1. I always wonder how many real folks out there in the real world do get married for convenience I would think it might work? if you are the type to get along with just about any one. Or are one who doesn't get all worked up about towels laying on the ground or chewing with your mouth open or something simple like those suchness?! I enjoyed this read. Jen is a new author to me I see there are many books to check out on the author profile?! Can't wait. Glad to have had a chance to read it. Must r [...]

    2. I LOVED THIS BOOK! Book captured my attention from the beginning and I reluctantly close the cover at the last page. Characters were well written and allowed you to feel everything they experienced. Will lust & mutual attraction win out or will secrets crush what could be? Get your copy today you won't be disappointed! I voluntarily read this ARC & this is my honest review

    3. This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed it.I am definitely reading the next book. Roe and Italia marry for convenience. She because her late mothers fortune is stolen by a long time family friend and he because he wants to grow his business with access to her connections. I wasn't a Roe fan at first, but since he was so good to her little sister that she's raising, he got major points. These two start out not really getting along, but their relationship really develops. By the end of [...]

    4. Short but good! This was book 1 in the series. Roe Black was hoping to get a contract with a wealthy businessman. When Italia came to his office seeking his help with saving her dead mother's business, he jumped at the opportunity. He offered her a marriage for the money. Roe also wanted to be in her bed for real. The story was short and had a few issues with typos, but overall, the story was nice.

    5. Filled with secrets, a marriage of convenience and family drama. This was a really good story that drew me in until the end. This copy given in exchange for an honest review.

    6. Roe is on a mission to clean up his reputation in order to grow his business. To that end, he proposes a marriage to Italia, who is struggling to keep her mother's company afloat. He will invest the needed capital to rescue her business in exchange for the appearance that he is a settled family man. Lust between them grows but family secrets threatens the delicate bond. Pleasant, gentle romantic adventure. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Four stars.

    7. I enjoyed this book. When a marriage of convenience slowly turns into something more, all bets are off. Life long secrets are exposedwill anyone be left standing in the fallout??A good book, with likeable characters ;)

    8. Shy Meets Bold is a a great story to start off a series with the Lipstick Diaries. Roe and Italia reach a deal that will boost each others empire. The only thing is Italia does not know that Roe is keeping a secret that can change everything for Italia. Instead he gets her to marry him to save her business. What starts off as a loveless marriage, finally forms into friendship. Italia was the one that always gave the cold shoulder while Roe was trying to make a family for them. What you need to d [...]

    9. Shy. This book surprised me. It was different but exciting. A marriage of Convenience always has surprises. Italia wanted to save her dead mother's business and was given a choice that she was not sure she could handle. But she was doing it for her sister's sake also. Roe was getting what he wanted out of this marriage which was a chance at a connection with Italia's uncle which would bring in money for him. But the secrets surrounding them are trying to swallow them and destroy everything. Good [...]

    10. This was a an interesting story that kept me reading, wanting to see what happened next.Roe and Italia were believable, and well portrayed characters and it was obvious that their marriage of convenience was destine to become more. The secondary characters were also well written and added to the story. My only gripe is the stilted nature of the dialogue. In real life people are much more casual when speaking to friends, lovers etc.I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
